      Hi parents,

Any one can advise me when will the P2 kids (this year) be asked to sign up for their CCAs for next year? Is it starting next year or they have to fill in the application form (?) this year?

i told the NCPS uniform and they told me can check with school bookshop. So it is the school bookshop that is selling the uniform? They also told me during school hours only for the sale of uniform. For the timing during school holidays, have to refer to booklist cos they dun open every day i think selected 2 to 3 days during the Nov and Dec school holidays

DS1 bot an additional PE t-shirt by himself this year & it's not from the bookstore but the shoes store opposite it. Mayb they tie in together during school term?

I still hv last yr's booklist. They were opened 9am-3pm for walk-in purchase for all levels on 11 days in Dec, w 1 of them a Sat a.m. Other days r for pre-orders & specific P2-6 walk-in.
R the kid required to wear the uniform during Orientation this time ard? If not, then there's plenty of time. 😄

        Bookshop & other vendors' #:

dun think will need to wear school uniforms for the orientation. Will need to wait for the letters. However i do know that if your children going for the HYPY class and phonics or whatever class which the school feels ur child needs improvement, you will have to wear their uniforms.

Dec busy period so may not be able to make it with the dates if not able to get the sizes on orientation day. a lot of hassle though.

Never mind i will call and go down tomorrow morning to buy first since now plenty of time. Dec with Christmas period near is a quite a busy time

i have went down to buy my girl’s uniform. Wow have spent 45 minutes cos have to try on a few sizes due to uniform either too big or too small. the lady told me that they will be opened on orientation day and in dec (27th, 28th and 29th Dec). No other day already once school holidays start. Actually i am quite surprised to see the stall is so small. First thought comes to mind is wow pasar malam stall. Cannot imagine orientation day so many parents queue up to buy. The lady told me orientation day always long queue and very slow cos some parents very fussy but she said a lot of parents have bought the uniforms already

by the way i got the letter liao. Any other mummies got the letter?

During Orientation day, it will not be at that place with the small stall. It will be held in a level 1 class room with more staffs serving to handle larger crowds. The books will also be sold in box (according to booklist) next door. But it's still better to buy early as it can be chaotic that day. You will know what I meant when you see it.

ya i will get to see that. at least the uniforms are settled. now left with the name tags and books, at least one less items to buy.

i just read the letter in details and saw that the books my girl has to bring one her first day of class.i just realised for chinese they indicate higher chinese language for primary 1 and i dun see any books for normal chinese. strange

For P1 & P2, NCPS only uses higher chinese, no normal chinese. I am not sure for upper pri though. When the good ones are told to pursue higher chinese, the rest go back to normal chinese?
