I think NanHua's standard in Chinese is high. Band 2 does not mean he is really weak compared with stduents in other school.

But all my friends think nanhua's exam papers are easiest compared to other good primary schools. Then nanyang is the second easiest.

Yes nanhua exam papers are easiest compared to the other popular primary schools EXCEPT for their Chinese paper which is the MOST DIFFICULT of all the primary schools.
Hi, we were told by the Principal yesterday that Nan Hua P1 will start to learn 三字经 & 弟子规. So what if we join in P4, will we need to know all these ? If so, able to squeeze 3 yrs knowledge into P4 ?

My son told me his Chinese score is 1.5 less than full marks, missed top 1. Other subjects are also ok. May join the good class in p3.

Hi, i'm new to Nan Hua, may i know how many good classes in Nan Hua in each level ? Do they go by class alphabet ? e.g. P4A is the best class ? Is it must be band 1 then can go best class ?
i think 4f is the best class besides gel and twinning class.
May I know what is twinning class ?
twinning class selects high mangos p3 achievers or round one gep passer from other schools, their curriculumn is mixed between gep and mainstream, some subjects are taken by mixed with gep students.

Actually twinning class is made up of students selected by MOE based on their round 2 GEP test results, ie, not all students who go through to round 2 will be selected. These students are placed together with the GEP classes where they take GEP Chinese, Social Studies and all other non-examinable subjects together with the GEPpers. They are only separated from the GEPpers for Maths, English and Science lessons. Their class size is small - max 25, and they benefit from the teaching pedagogy of the GEP curriculum.

There are 2 best mainstream classes from P3 onwards. The top 80 students from each level based on their overall result for the previous year will be selected for these classes. The rest of the classes will be mixed ability.
