      Xuannie:
Hi, i need advise as i do not intend to send my child to after school care. Thus i intend to ask my sister's husband to look after her after school as he is a retiree. Does he qualify as a \"care taker\"? Can i use their address to register for the school?

      Thank you.
      You may want to know

For registration using the address of the child’s grandparents or the parent’s sibling, a statutory declaration is needed. If statutory declaration is used, children who are registered using either the grandparent’s or the parent’s sibling’s address and residing within 1 km or between 1 km and 2 km of the school of choice are balloted together with the other children residing between 1 km and 2 km of the school. View details on eligibility for statutory declaration.

If you're asking if your dd has priority in P1 registration at SNGS because your hubby was from Catholic High, the answer is no.

                        Hi,

Can I check what if my mom has been helping me looking after my DD since she is 1 year old but currently as she is in a full time childcare, my mom works part time for 3 times a week. Are we still eligible to enrol her using grandparent’s address? And also, the school that i wanted to enrol her is my previous school, will that put me in a different phase?

Sorry but I am really confuse now. Thanks for all your replies in advance.
