how abt cases such as original pri sch had demolished n currently there’s another pri sch taking over its loc. Does tat situation falls into any phases ? Or really no hope for it since I cant find d old sch name when google ? I’m previously from Redhill Primary, tik now GES Pri has taken over it’s campus …

Pls advice n sorry if I asked any silly question, as I’m quite a newbie in this forum n really confused abt all d phases n worried … Thanks !!

I’m a working mum(civil servant) w 1 kid(born end 2008), staying ard Telok Blangah, "cow" for ~1 year(BF supplement w milk powder), kid when to childcare when abt 11mths ard HBF area - so far so good, also sent kid to some enrichment classes … n life is bz w my little "angel n devil(sometimes)" … Thanks !! ^

Can I check what if my mom has been helping me looking after my DD since she is 1 year old but currently as she is in a full time childcare, my mom works part time for 3 times a week. Are we still eligible to enrol her using grandparent’s address? And also, the school that i wanted to enrol her is my previous school, will that put me in a different phase?

If you plan to enrol your girl in your alma mater, she will fall under P2A. We have not witnessed any balloting recently in P2A.

As for the grandparent's address, here's an extract from MOE's website:

38.My child is being looked after by my parent or my sibling. Can we make use of their address for the purpose of registration?


Statutory declarations are required for parents who wish to register their child using the address of the child’s grandparent or the parent’s sibling in a school within 2 kilometres from that address. The eligibility criteria are:
■Both parents are working full-time at the time the statutory declaration was made; and
■The child is under the full time care of a grandparent or a parent’s sibling; and
■The child’s grandparent or the parent’s sibling is not employed.

So, based on the last criteria, I suppose your mother cannot be classified as a caregiver.

old school no longer exist means hope also no longer exist ..... and if you are still within 1 km of the new pri school, then got some priority in phase 2c .... in case of balloting

I find parents of such mentality are very poisonous for the society.

Such acts of dishonesty will only lead your own child to be social outcast who only lie to get what they wanted.
Next time when they grow up if they want to get something they might as well cheat and rob to get it.
Anyway you are too late to rent.
MOE this year for some reason is very strict and will look out for such dishonesty cases and will void your child eligibility even if he/she is selected.
Some of my friends who rented house even 2 years ago also gave up the idea of using this dishonest method in worry that MOE will find out.

I am going to register my boy in School A (hubby from the school) in P2A on 6th July, and will be doing a satutory declaration maybe on 4th July, as I hope to enter School B in P2B on 20th July (nearer to my parents place as my parents picks him n look after him), will give up place in school A if school B do not need to ballot. possible?? school A using our own add and school B using my parents.
