gksmummy:
Thanks busymom! Besides barbie anything else? Don't really like my girl to use barbie products... Any idea where to buy?Tia! :thankyou:
Besides Barbie, I think I just saw a Dora one at Robinsons (Centrepoint) the other day. It's quite easy to find these wallets at Taka or Robinsons.Busymom:
Hi parents any suggestions for p1 kid purses?
You can consider buying those with a rubber coil and a hook, especially if your child's uniform has a loop to attach the hook. Good way to prevent losing the wallet. For girls, you can find such wallets from Barbie. -
Just come back from Carrefour.
Sales from Deuter Geniuskids School Bag will end on 25 December 2012.
I didn’t buy as i don’t think my DD will like the colors of existing stock.
The picture of the Deuter School Bags in the brochure looks much nicer.
But the stuff said they will be available next week.
Meanwhile, I will take a look at SPI and compare if I am free. DS’s SPI last two years and still in a very good condition. -
thank you Busymom!!!
dora is good!!! -
Carrefour is also selling the smart s for $95 I think. Coz they lump the genius and smart s together.
This weekend has a 10% discount for posb card holders. 5% is direct discount. In the end I got a non ergo Deuter bag for $56. Very much lighter than the ergo bag. -
Thanks buds for the suggestion. I bot a Brother at popular bookfest. Thought its a good solution!

Heyya eskimo, the machines and labels were sooo worth the buy at Book Fest! We were there yesterday! Enjoy your new toy, for labeling is gonna be soo easy n convenient now.
It's a lifesaving tool for us especially since we have three kids! -
Yeah, i hope its a good investment! just crossing my fingers that my DD won’t ask why no more cartoon character stickers anymore?
-
I used to DIY Winx Club cartoon labels for my girls and bought the clear laminate adhesive plastic (contact paper) to paste over the labels. A lotta work cause gotta cut soo many labels for soo many things. I also make extras for spares so I don't have to re-print, cut n paste each time any needs replacement like on water bottles or files (etc).
When my daddie bought the girls the Brother labeller I brought them to choose the colour tapes they preferred and they liked helping out with the label printing. I also told them it's now clean, neat n simple. Nice. Plus now jie-jie dy. No need cartoons anymore.

Hi Eskimo & Buds,
May I know how much are the Brother label machine & labels you bought?
Are the labels waterproof?
Thanks -
The cheapest one was at $26.90. It runs on thermal ink, the salesperson say the label ink will fade after more than a year. Unless u get the laminated labels, a different type that is higher end, then it won’t fade.
I think the normal 8m labels are going at $14+.
