Is the teacher in YZ good?

My daughter is in P1 this year, she enjoy going to school even on Wednesday.

Under her teachers guidance, she progress well in all her subjects.
she is attending the prize giving this friday. We are glad that we choose this school for her even is a distance away. :please:

I don’t think the school will change the morning session from Wed to Fri. They are doing so because it’s a norm in Singapore that most (or all) of the schools are using Wed pm for teachers’ meeting.


My experience with the principal and v principal is that they will tell you that they want the children to be responsible for themselves. So, they got to stick to the school’s system.

I’m also surprised to read that most of you found the admin staff is good…?

The change of school shoes and socks is a nightmare. School should focus on teaching the children… rather than the appearance… ?!

Anyway, that’s my person opinion.

To reddiechan, you are lucky to have a child who can fall asleep anytime/soon. Some active children just needs longer time to fall asleep despite having good sleep routine. By the way, children at their age needs bt 10 hours of sleep.


To idealist, you may want to know this website is also monitered by the school. They will answer your queries where necessary. Although I hate Wed timing, I didn't 'dare' ask for a change because before we enrol our child, we already knew they have such a system.

Like all schools, this school also has good and mediocre staff. At least the student mix is not a bad lot.

Thanks. i suppose if the school could strongly improve its work/life balance for teachers, they could do better for a young child.
Well, i do think the website is also monitored by the ministry (MOE) for sentiment of parents towards day to day activities. Who knows?

the bus company will contact you 1-2 week before school reopen.
