Sorry can i check with you, for shopping wise usually go to pacific fair and harbour town will do? -
Yup, nothing much to do at night. Surfers Paradise is still quite lively cos there are still people dining there. However, all shops will be closed by 5 pm.
We went to Pacific Fair but no time to go harbour town. There are mainly fashion shops in Pacific Fair but not to our liking. -

Nope, didn't shop at Surfers Paradize. We spend the day going to the world etc so didn't shop in the day. Went to Pacific Fair on Thurs night but quite disappointed. Australia is 2 hrs ahead of us.Mamo:
Btw, most shops in the malls (including Pacific Fair and Harbour Town shopping outlet) are closed at 5 p.m., even on weekends. Late night shoppings till 9.30 p.m. is only on Thursday.
Noted with thanks. Did you shop in surfer paradize? how was it ? suppose this timing apply there also? -
There are some souvenir shops at Surfers Paradise still open after 5 pm.

If you want to buy their local products or crafts, you should go to Carrara Market during the weekends. Shops in shopping malls are generally branded stuff, nothing extraordinary. -
