You mean your dd is also from rgps primary 6? maybe my dd knows your dd... πŸ˜„

Yes, indeed. They may just know each other. πŸ˜„
Will you be attending the graduation ceremony on Saturday? DH and I are going. I hope I will not embarrass myself by crying non-stop. If you see anyone tearing continuously, it's probably me! πŸ˜‰

No lah, I don't think you'll cry. It's quite sweet. The principal gives each girl a cert and takes a photo with each one. And the class cheers for each child.

Oh yes, I saw all the girls with their autographed teddies today. What else did the school give the girls this year? Any P6 overseas trip?

So far, only the Teddy bear, but there may be surprises in store for the girls on Saturday, at the graduation party. You mean there used to be graduation overseas trips?

Not in my dd's year but that was H1N1 year. I heard there was before but I don't know if it's a fact or just rumours.
DD took 1 set of her uniform to sch today & got all her friends to sign on it with a marker. The uniform is now covered with many well wishes & will be a nice momento for her in the years to come.

My dd's school gave them each a graduation Teddy bear to sign on instead.

I didn't know your DD is also from RGPS! Nice to meet you, lilac! πŸ˜„
hello, my DD also from RGPS P6 πŸ™‚

other than giving old uniforms away to pple you know, can I ask what do most most mommies do with old uniforms ? I have quite a few sets to take care of, in addition to DD gg to new sec school next yr, my younger child is also changing school because he is going to a GEP school. Any advice ?

I am wondering what should I do to the old uniform... send to the recycle bin? sell garang gooni?

                    Hi Mamo,
Would your sch want it? DD's sch told the students to donate their old uniform to the sch. πŸ˜‚

Thanks, firefly. The shock jolted me wide awake! Luckily, vlim and Pen clarified the date. Otherwise I will look like Pen today, with panda eyes.

Anyway, that was a good joke, albeit an accidental one.

 Try giving away or selling online? Better remember to remove cloth name tag. I am throwing away a few sets of my boy's old uniform (think these doesn't look new enough to giveaway πŸ˜‰ ). Only leaving behind a newer set for next week, and going to new sec school.
