Does the class size still hold? I think my kid’s class has more than 8 definitely leh. (he’s with P2s this year).

Oops! Sorry my mistake, it is more than 8 for lower pri- I think they consider lower pri as their P1/2 class-will have assistant teacher. For upper and mid primary P3 and above, should be more than 12, will have assistant teacher.

But there are 1-2 teachers who have been teaching in schools for a long time, for them they can handle the mid-upper pri without assistant teachers. One of my kid is in one of their classes and I was told because the teacher has a lot of experience, handling 16 is not a problem. So far, I am very happy with that teacher.

hee, thanks coolit for clarification. I dun mind their class size, but some parents may get a rude shock if their kid is in a bigger than anticipated class.
Have you or are you getting the vocab book at bookfest? I can't make it today. so sianz.

Actually, but for the fact that teacher have to mark superfast (becos they dun take home work to mark), I’m happy with big classes. Kids can bounce ideas off each other and it could be more ‘friendly competitive’ with more kids inside. But that’s my crazy idea.
Anyway, my kid loves his teacher to bits, so he has not entertained thoughts of changing teacher/centre. -
Yes I am, I went in at 1230 pm haha first batch to go in…very ks. Crowd quite ok in the beginning, we got a few books then left for lunch will be back later. Yvonne the administrator is there and another lady. They are selling the cw writing and spelling book as well.
Now looking at the vocab book, it is v good. Have not seen such vocab books, they have 21 exercises and every exercise comes with vocab notes to explain the meanings, mnemonics and some examples of the word. I am also learning the diff between words like ‘reserved’, ‘withdrawn’, ‘supercilious’, ‘imperious’
Haha I agree with what you say about big classes, more friendly competition and my kids dont feel so bored.
Anyway, when are you going for the bookfest? -
