kiddies06:
anyone can advise is the 10 days workshop for Phonics and Han Yu Pin Yin useful? Thinking of to register my kid to the workshop or not.
Some parents may be advised to sign up the courses for their kids after orientation day. Anyway to me, I treated it like an early familiarisation for my son to the school environment, places, wearing of uniform, getting to know new friends etc. That was last yr. Cheers! -
Vevey:
Let me find out & \"report\" here.

Yours P1 or 2?
DS' P2 report bk has class position but level positions were only disclosed to the prize winners during a separately briefing today when the rest were having assembly. There r 2x 1st, so no 2nd & 3x 3rd for P2 this year. These winners will each b awarded w an additional cert & cash prize from SHHK.
Actually not disclosing level positions of every1 also good lah. Imagine the feelings of those in 29x. The statistics r much more useful to gauge our kids' performance in a cohort. Positions r just a matter of relativity.
So do you know which class are the 5 top in lvl from this year?

DS didn't attend but he is a strong reader for English. However, no problem w HYPY in P1 even tho his PCF didn't teach any. -

My child received his book list and apparently the appointed book store for Nanchiau is Pacific Bookstores. And in the book list, they said that we can pre-order online. However, when I went into the website, I don't see NanChiau listed in the list of schools. Any idea why? Could it be that the school has not submitted the book list?
Was just going thru the booklist w DS.
As stated at its home delivery section, website will b launched on 23 Nov.
good lah, give me some time to tidy up the used books.

Vevey:
Just went into the website, and its already open for pre-order online. Only thing is that the dates for pre-order self collection is limited, and mainly on weekdays, which is not convenient for me. Looks like no choice but head down to school to get them.DoDo_DoDo:

Since u intend to order online, why not consider by home delivery. Pay a delivery fee of S$7.80 per order, per location. They have weekends, Saturday delivery.
