I think I hv a diff problem. My P3 DS told me I need not hv to give him any money.

In fact, for his angbao , I am free to take! I initially tried to start to give him some pocket money in P1 & wld encouraged him to buy food fr canteen. But he prefers to bring own snack fr home ( so that he can hv more time to play or go library) & the pocket money is always there untouched & I totally stopped giving any after 1 wk. At first I was worried that he had no sense of money, but yet , when shopping ( he hates shopping !Study/revision is better than shopping ! ), he hardly asks to buy anything. Sometimes I hv to insist that he buys somethings ( eg some toys/ games to occupy his holiday time) , and when this happens, he will compare the prices & choose the cheapest one.
So what kind of child do I hv here ? No money sense or just bo-chap type? :?
Talking about angbao money, do you give the money to a 3 yr old? Or keep and help to get toys :?

🀷 If I start giving allowance to kid, think will collect back from kid as online purchased toys seem cheaper.

Right now, have not start allowance for kid. I bought all the toys for my kid.

He is P3 .. I will accumulate and deposit into his bank acct. But honestly, whether I really put in or not, he doesn't seem to care. Unlike our old time.. we wld be so excited to count how much we gathered esply after CNY .
