Hi KSPs,

I m back after a last minute trip to Florida. My ds n I followed sg on his business trip. Had to spend 3 days to catch up w e many posts I missed during the last few weeks.

Hope everyone is doing well in e midst of the built-up anxiety of our long awaited results ... It seems to be OURS anyway 😉

Just to share that my DS finally made up his mind to study in RI as we had recently shifted to serangoon area. Not 孟母三迁 in our case, more of proximity to dh's workplace. I'd been wondering if dh chose to move here w an ulterior motive of 'forcing' my DS to choose ri, e school which dh prefers. Haha ... Knowing how my DS hates to waste time traveling. But gotta give him face la ... Cannot divulge his 'secret'.

Paddyfield, welcome back! You didn't miss much. We all passing time here keeping ourselves entertained with chatting and teasing, whilst relieving stress from the forthcoming PSLE results day.

Welcome back, paddyfield! How was your trip to Florida? How was the weather there? Cold? We will be visiting Houston/Texas & Orlando/Florida early December for 3 weeks, and we will be back, just in time, for Sec-1 Registration Day on 22Dec.

Glad to hear that your DS has made up his mind on which sec sch to join. Btw, did your DS put RI as his first choice during the School Preference Excercise?
Hi Firefly,

Is this your first trip to Florida? They do not really experience cold winter there thus it is often a winter vacation for those in the north n north-east such as new Yorkers etc. but to Singaporeans, it will still be cold la .. esp when it's windy. Will u be visiting Disney, sea world etc? Do PM me if u need more info on florida. I stayed there for 3 months last yr.

Yes, my DS finally input ri as his first choice via the PC. What about yours?

Interestingly my DS1 said they were told during the graduation ceremony to refer to the media for the date and time of the PSLE results release.

They were not told specifically to report to school on 24/11 at noon.

At the end of DD's graduation ceremony on Saturday, the MC made an announcement telling the girls to be in school on 24/11 at about 11.30am.
That way, don't need to make phone calls...so would not leak out who the top scorer of the school is.
