      MummySTay:

Firstly, good teachers. DD has great teachers. Heard some of the P6 teachers, including DD's, are 'retained' to teach P6 again. Good news for the current P5s.
Secondly, parental support. DH guides DD in Math and Sc every week while I handle the English portion.
Finally, hard work. For instance, DD actually reads story books multiple times and copies down good words, phrases and descriptions for use in compositions. Her hard work is better than paying through the nose for some brand name tuition (that's just my opinion; not meant to offend).
Just some humble sharing. Hope it helps.
Thanks for your valuable sharing...MummyStay :thankyou:

Hope 3 years later, I can :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah: here. πŸ˜‚

Thanks for your sharing πŸ™‚ Must show your posting to my P2 girl tonight....Think she still dreaming :imdrowning:

We attended her classmate's birthday party over last weekend, and when I asked her classmate what she will be doing over the holiday, the girl replied \"Study!!!!\" I was really speechless at that time πŸ˜“

Just a quick question: Any idea what is the average score to get into E/F class in P3? Hopefully can set some target for this still honey-moon mood girl of mine....

The average score should be around 87, depends on the paper difficults that year.

Remembered no teaching on first day. DD told to introduce herself. After that, for the next few days, teachers gradually collected subject activity books and 2 exercise books (English compo and Chinese spelling) to lighten bag. Bring own recess snacks, if possible. You can go to canteen and take video/picture during recess for first 2 or 3 days. All look alike.

87 is my estimation, which is not including MT and HMT.
