Any of you using organic-based or natural skincare products, that means no chemical ingredients, only plant or fruit based?

I read somewhere that most of the branded skincare products (don't want to mention names here) contain chemical ingredients which in the long run are not good for our skin.

So I'm thinking of switching to organic/plant-based ones.
I have just switched to Akins range which is organic skin care. I am using the facial wash cum toner, moisturiser and eye gel. I have not seen any difference in my skin condition compared to using those store bought brands. I also use their hair care range but I dun like it because it is not rich enough for my frizzy hair.

            Hi

I have just finished using my mask and would like to shop for it. Can mommies here recommend good hydrating mask.

I was using My Beauty Diary sheet mask, but i was told that for sheet mask, it is better to use on a daily basis to see good effects. I really have no time to do so.

            Thanks for your recommendation!

How many of you are willing to pay more to use organic skincare/cosmetics products?

After reading the news report yesterday that a NTU research showed that zinc oxide commonly found in cosmetics and even sunscreen may damage normal cells and cause cancer, I’m thinking if it’s worth it to pay more for our health in the long term…

                  hi xueyan,

i'm happy with the Vanedo masks from Korea. i bought them from shiokdeal.com. all the mask types can hydrate skin. personally, my fav are Gold and Hyaluronic Acid.

                    hi all mommies here,

what sunblock or bb cream do u recommend for combi and sensitive skin? i need lotsa hydration 😄

so far, i used Mabelline BB cream with minerals, Silkygirl BB Cream, Biotherm White D-Tox (purple) make-up base and Sunplay sunblock b4. the first 3 cannot matte my skin while the last one makes my skin sticky at the end of the day 😞

How about Kose? Japanese brand, also make for Asian skin. I used it for many years.

Actually, inner beauty also very important. What I meant was the way that we eat. How about taking supplements to improve our skin radiant?

I changed from clinique to Artistry recently, but find that it’s only so-so.

There are some ppl who have been using Artistry for 10 years plus who really swear by it but maybe my skin is just more sensitive and prone to break-outs…
