How many of you are willing to pay more to use organic skincare/cosmetics products?


After reading the news report yesterday that a NTU research showed that zinc oxide commonly found in cosmetics and even sunscreen may damage normal cells and cause cancer, I’m thinking if it’s worth it to pay more for our health in the long term…

I was using My Beauty Diary sheet mask, but i was told that for sheet mask, it is better to use on a daily basis to see good effects. I really have no time to do so.

i'm happy with the Vanedo masks from Korea. i bought them from shiokdeal.com. all the mask types can hydrate skin. personally, my fav are Gold and Hyaluronic Acid.

what sunblock or bb cream do u recommend for combi and sensitive skin? i need lotsa hydration

so far, i used Mabelline BB cream with minerals, Silkygirl BB Cream, Biotherm White D-Tox (purple) make-up base and Sunplay sunblock b4. the first 3 cannot matte my skin while the last one makes my skin sticky at the end of the day

How about Kose? Japanese brand, also make for Asian skin. I used it for many years.

Actually, inner beauty also very important. What I meant was the way that we eat. How about taking supplements to improve our skin radiant?

I changed from clinique to Artistry recently, but find that it’s only so-so.


There are some ppl who have been using Artistry for 10 years plus who really swear by it but maybe my skin is just more sensitive and prone to break-outs…

I use the Kiehl's sunblock for face and Clinique BB cream. I like the Clinique BB cream texture but don't like that I look snowy white upon application. So, I switched to Clinique super moisture cream compact makeup (SPF 26) and has good coverage. I've got dry skin so this suits my skin type. Best creamy foundation I've used so far.

Rather good as it does seem to even out my skin tone (my skin looks dull). Skin looks rested and slight radiance in the morning.

I am using a Singapore formula, consist of two serum and one anti-aging cream. I like it, already stopped my sk2. Used it for 3weeks, like it! Skin looks bright and no dryness.
But they have not invent sun block yet. Sun block I am using sk2. Light and not oily.

Tues and fri are my mask day. Using origins drink up intensive overbite mask on one day and vit e sink in moisture mask from body shop on the next day.


Toner for day and nite is nutriganics refreshing toner from body shop.

Morning after toner will slap on seaweed matti flying day cream.

Nite is the busy part.

After toner will be sk2 facial treatment essence then la mer serum follow by la mer moisturing gel cream.

+ eye cream

I like la mer gel cream, it is light and not oily after application.

For wash, am using himalaya herbal facial wash.

Can try this herbal tea mix: rose buds + rose hip petals; or get the pre-mix Beauty Blend from Perfect Potion (at Parkway or United Sq) and drink a cup in the evening. Sometimes, I can see a tinge of rosy cheeks the next morning. :preen:
