hi Chatterbox,

a) anyone going to St Nick, Cedar - only a few or quite a fair bit ?

b) out of 3 subjects (english, maths, science) - which subject easier to DSA via academics ?

any classmates got in via this route ? which subject more commonly taken ?

c) is there Science olympiad in our school ? so far only heard of Maths.

Only a few. Only those who could not fulfill the t-score COP of RGS and NYGH.
Here are some brief stats of my class with 39 people:

20-25: RGS and NYGH
2-5: Cedar
1-2: MGS
1-2: SCGS
2-4: Dunman
2-5: RV
2-5: NJC
and a few going to other schools like Crescent..

Sorry I didn't manage to get the exact stats...

But according to my brief calculation, around 60 pupils from GEP and 30+ people at least from E and F class fulfilled the estimated marks to go to RGS(260) although not too sure about the exact marks

For this year, it is maths. Many people who dsaed by maths got in. But then not too sure about next year. 4 of my friends got into RGS by maths.

I haven't heard of Science olympiad in our school. But probably it is only offered to GEP.. cos throughout my 6 years in the school I have never heard of of Science olympiad being offered in our school.

I'm not too sure, cos I'm not a prefect and just a CCA leader.. I don't think RGPS really prepares us for such things..
To collate, the average t-score for 2011 E and F classes are 258 and 259.2 respectively. Parents like aqeqiq must be most excited to see this. πŸ˜‰

MummySTay is correct ! My DD is from F class.

Yah, I am  already! But like KSP said, must let current p5s have their day in the sun first so I will wait patiently behind. πŸ˜‰
:congrats: aqeqiq, your dd is on the right track... :celebrate: :rahrah:
