Actually i'm princess Jojo's caring father. i'm just using her log in name. ( lazy to create another log in name )

Seems like the father is more kancheong then his kid.. my princess just basically waiting for my field trial and have the final say..( cant decide for her too, can just give advices after reading ksparents strings of thread days and nights.)...

Sorry for the confusion. i didn't really walk to the main gate. i just reached the side gate, waited there for awhile because of heavy run, and walk back to opp lasalle-sia bus stop. so it is ~ 10 mins from site gate to the bus stop.

From Mountbatten station, yes, one also can still take 158 to the DHS main gate. ( just a small walk from mouthbatten station to the near by bus stop, before crossing the river.

For Aljunied Station, the bus stop is just beside it, 158 is passing there too. I was taking that bus on my way back from the othe

As for the dif. interval, What i meant is morning peak hour, after morning peak hour, evening peak hour and evening after peak hour. ( something like that)

hi all,

Found Mr. Poh, the DHS bus services for AMK area.
Yes, confirm that he can take my dd to school from AMK Ave 1

Tonight or tomorrow latest we are going to register on line for the Si option..
As of now, ( might still be changing.. )here is our choice :
1) NYGS
2) NJC
3) DHS

One deciding factor is the travel time. from my place to NYGS or NJC is less then 1/2 hour, all because of the new circle line train from lorong chuan station to botanic garden station.
for dhs, from my place to there is about..... 40 to 50 mins.. a bit of walking and/or waiting needed.

Perhaps i will ask her to do field trip with me again tomorrow, if she is still keen.. ( before noon, of cause )

Thanks very much for all your help, really appreciated. I started to learn many things from you all, right after the release of my dd result last week. Compared to 1 week ago, a @_@ ( blur) daddy has became KS daddystage 1..
Still got lot of secondary school things to learn/catch up.. a 6 years long journey have just started.

May I know what will be expected on reporting day in DHS?

Do we need to purchase all the books and uniform on that day?
Is the book list very long?

Is there anyway to do all the buying on another day?

The reason why I’m asking is DH may not be able
to go and that leaves DS and myself on public transport.

On reporting day, u will be directed to the performing art threatre, together with yr child.
After the P's welcome speech, pupils will be shown to their respective classes ( check fr the list when u first entered the sch).
Parents will need to sign some forms, then proceed to buy uniforms
I believe u still can buy the uniforms on some other days, (dates will be given )
If not get them at their head office.
The school bookstore is also under Popular, textbks are avail there too.
Pl remember to bring the booklist along as there is some discount given as they follow the barcode.
To me, the books are not that many, one person shd be able to carry them.

Hi Augmum, what is the recommended number of PE t-shirts to buy? Are pupils allow to wear PE t-shirts even on non-PE days? Must they change back to their blouses once PE/CCA is over?

I am a newbie in this forum and my child may potentially be joining DHS.

Just wondering. Has any DHS student feels that he/she has made the right choice in choosing DHS over any of the branded top 4 secondary schools? Or vice-versa?

The reason I ask is my child is short of 1 point to get to the dream school and is still feeling lousy about it.
