Inability to sleep through the night
-
My DH hasn't been able to sleep through the night well for many months. He leads a healthy lifestyle, dun smoke and only drink occasionally. But somehow, at 4+am every morning, he would automatically wake up and could no longer go back to sleep till it's time for work at 6+am.
He has tried many ways.....sleep earlier, exercise, drink some wine before going to bed, got to bed very very late (after 1-2am) etc....but no matter how tired he is, he would just wake up at 4-5am. It's now taking a toll on him.
Anyone has experience or any advice? I also dunno how I can help him..... -
Have you tried g3? A health fruit juice that helps to reduce sleeping problems. If you are interested to know more, can pm me. Cheers

I think it comes with age. I have the same problem. I remember my dad was like that too.My DH hasn't been able to sleep through the night well for many months. Can try Melatonin, it promotes healthy sleep pattern. Can get from Guardian.

It does come with age or when person is "troubled".
According to a TCM physician a friend consulted, sleep by 11pm to 2am at least. It is then the body shut down to release and clear toxins in the body. Upon waking, drink 4 cups of water (alkaline if possible, eg diamond filtered water), sip by sip. Take short naps whenever possible. -
Thanks. But also curious, this ‘age’ mentioned, what kind of age group is it? DH just hit 40, seems a little early …

it hit me about mid 40s.

I’m also having this "intermittent sleep" almost every night. I’ll get up at least 2-3 times a night.

Will both gender face similar symptoms?

Stress or to go wee wee? I used to feel thirsty at night & drink lots of water before sleep. And resulted in getting up & go washroom 3 times a night. Really disrupted my sleep. I reduced my intake of fluid nowadays but occasionally still wake up 2 to 3 times a night to go wee wee! :faint:
