YZ 2011’s PSLE score of 264 was lower than 2010’s 267. Highest 2011 national score was 283. Was told that the school concentrated on some selected ‘bright can score kids’ esp from 6A to excel. Can u believe that some kids from 6B scored between 200 to 220? what happened to those kids from the 6C or even 6G?

That really depends on the class distribution.

Maybe the system used did not reflect the pupils ability!

vaguely remembered it was not 100% pass. you can call the school to ask.

see this link from YS's website, seemed like the results has been going downstream....: http://www.yangzhengpri.moe.edu.sg/cos/o.x?c=/wbn/pagetree&func=view&rid=19963

Yangzheng Primary School likes to reassure our parents that our results did improve from the previous year. Our mean T-score improves and is above the national mean T-score. All subjects are also above national this year. We would be sharing more details on this with our parents at our annual Parents’ Briefings in Jan/Feb 2012. We look forward to continue partnering with you to bring out the best in your child.
