I thought RV students do not take A levels?Yewniffler171:
Can RV students not take Chinese when they are in Year 5?
if they score well in O level HCL in Year 4, then no need to take H1 Chinese in Year 5. -

I thought RV students do not take A levels?
I guess you meant RV students do not take O level right? All RV students only take 1 'O' level paper and that is HCL in year 4. Same as other IP schools.rosecy:

Going thru the subjects combi slide posted in ivle, the curriculum time is now :
2.30pm for CCA days
3.30pm for normal days
4.30pm for long days (max 2) if necessary,e.g for triple science classes.
7.30am to 3.30pm is almost like our working hours...not forgetting they need to complete tonnes of homework. -

I would think the school, but I am not saying rosecy's info is not reliable :siam:
both are reliable.fattyjanet:
heard during open house that 92 posted to RV through DSA.
so left 308 for central posting.
I called the school this afternoon and was told that 150 places were offered via DSA. So which info is more reliable?
150 offered, 92 opted and posted in

Any idea if the 92 posted in were purely from CO? What about those with WL being offered CO; are they able to reject the offer after knowing their PSLE T-score?
Are those WL given a grace period to make a decision whether to accept or reject the CO? -
fattyjanet:
No. The decision on whether or not to accept a WL is in October. Once you fill in the DSA option form and if your WL becomes a CO in November, you will be posted to that school. You will not be eligible for the S1 Central Posting Exercise anymore.Any idea if the 92 posted in were purely from CO? Correct me if I'm wrong - which means the 92 posted in as mentioned during the open house comprises the CO and WL-turned-CO students. -
What is the difference?
WL-turned-CO supposed to be weaker choice in the eye of the schools? -
fattyjanet:
i think all 92 are CO. since RV can take up to 50% DSA and only offered 150. max should be 200 since yearly intake is 400.
Thanks jtoh.

RV has no waiting list.
