Hi, can any parents share with me how’s Edelweiss Kindergarten?

they have e-learning session, once a week, 45mins per session. I am quite concern about this as I think it’s too young to expose them to computer at this young age(3yo-from nursery onwards), it may affect their eye-sight.

I saw the teachers (or teacher assistants?) were not very friendly towards the children during their meal time when I visited the kindy for the registration and am now hesitate if I should put my son there next year.

Any feedback and comments about Edelweiss is very much appreciated. thanks.

        Hi Kipper

I went to edelweiss n really like the classroom environment.
Didn't think that e-learning is necessary too..
Am still on waiting list for K1 next yr 😞

It's difficult to find a good kindergarten in sembawang..
        Any parents can recommend?

        Thanks!

          Hi Whimpykid,

Thanks. where is your kid currently studying? yes, it’s very difficult to find a good kindergarten in Sembawang area except childcare (My little campus).

I think Edelweiss has a very long waiting list too, that’s why I’m not sure if I should put my son into nursery next year(their am session has very long waiting list too, my son’s is pm session which i do not really like it) so to secure K1 and K2 in the future:) but the e-learning session put me off:)

              Hello North Mummy

i stay in sembawang too, and i totally agree with you!
it's so difficult to find a good preschool! those more popular ones are always on waiting list..
my girl has been attending a presch at Civic center. sch is v good but now have to look for another kindergarten for next year at sembawang to make things easier for my parents.. sigh.. no hope yet... 😞

If you really want your child to attend canberra pri, then you need to consider doing parent's volunteer, so that you can get another chance in balloting under 2B. if unlucky in 2B, you can still try for 2C..
without PV, your child will be under 2C (meaning you only got 1 chance in balloting)...
              Hi,
Can tell me which prescho you attend at civic centre? I think i need to consider admiralty or woodlands now.... Seriously had this thought of moving house...

                Hi hi

My girl is attending purple train in the 6th floor. Teachers r sincere n caring.
                It’s montessori plus thematic approach.
Downside is the price. $600 per month. No subsidy

Yes, daugther also attended Purple train before. Found it really good. Fees then was $500/mth. Can’t imagine it is $600 now. Teachers still remembers her and me after 2 years! Good principal there…she drives the teachers hard!
