Think it has to do with not bringing in the $$$ and can't hold a job for long.
I remember there was an interview and she gave this sob story about her husband being a gambling addict ( or alcoholic?). She painted an extremely sad picture of her marriage.sall:

actually , i 'm still not sure what is/are the causes of her marriage breakdown,
any links to read abt......( ya lah....kapoh me...
)
Don't think there is a link.[/quote]poppy15:
thanks all....the last i read abt her marriage was when she was hosting a wedding programme together with michelle chia; the last episode was abt her ex-hubby held a post wedding for her on board a yatch. she didnt know & make a big fuss when she was asked to put on a wedding gown & michelle chia was the bridesmaid... she then cried buckets when she realised its her wedding they were filming...
fast forward... marriage breakdown, got into fights, depression, made head-line news...
i did watch some on TV too....
but did her hubbby said anything fr his side.....??

cant remember who said this (think was either lawyer, close friend or herself) in the chinese nite papers but her ex never contact them after the incident.

Poor woman, single and taking care of daughter all by herself! Have some compassion on her! She is working hard to survive and dealling with her depression, stress…
Whether if she did or did not have anger issue, it’s still not right for the taxi driver to insult her daughter. Wondering if she can get the taxi driver to settle outside court for he had done something wrong too!
Hey, where is the silly coward ex… can he be a man to stand up/out or at least to defend or protect his own daughter! -
Not exactly a nice person!

agree.
give people the impression that in any argument or fight (whether with taxi driver, etc) - she must always win, and that she think she's always correct. It never occur to her - to try pause a while, to reflect upon herself ... perhaps she herself is wrong in the first place, hence always creating this type of 'din'. i remember this is not her first case encounter with taxi driver. last time also got something else, involved in another brawl ...
if this is the 1st time this incident occur, no one can say anything. but it is not. if she work for TCS, she jolly know very well that she's a public figure. So QYF ought to watch her own behavior cautiously, in public. i mean ... i dont see other people from TCS encountering brush with the law quite so often as she, creating sensation headline news.

now I know post natal depression can be delayed for so long to take effect.. 1999 to 2011. -
let’s hope that this will be her last time she got involved in such matter.
-
I personally don’t think she deserves a lighter sentence. Afterall she did what she did and she lied about it after the incident - citing it is the fault of the cabby and not hers.
She is plainly using her pathetic life to get around with it. Afterall this is not the first time. With such a character and with this incident, I am sure some public members are afraid to be near her in case she errupted again and still can get around with it. I am not surprise that the ex leaves her. Being an adult, ones need to be sensible at your own doing and if you let your weakness be the better of you, then nobody can empathise with you. -
