Just came back from HK with my wife and 1 yr old daughter. Weather wise, cool but not cold, about 18 degrees. But it is expected to get colder in January. We put her on a jacket and thin stockings and she is fine. In fact, on some days, she felt pretty hot and was perspiring!

I certainly had better service from SQ. I once had a Cathey staff telling an elderly lady that she is not able to help the elderly lady to bring her bag up to the overhead compartment becos it is too heavy for this 20+, 30 year old staff.

Can confirm if Hong Kong Airlines is really a budget airline? I boarded a plane from T2, not the budget terminal, and was served full meals onboard. And of course, the prices I paid are far more ex than budget airlines. 😞
