Dear Wiimum,
Yes, th of visiting Taipei in CYN. Thank for yr info, will check with the travel agent. As my co also block leave from 25/1 to 27/1 so th of visiting Taipei since i have not been there… -
Taipei city itself will be quiet (Malls will still be open after first day) as most will travel out of the city… so expect massive traffic jam to places of interest like JiuFen, Keelung, towards the South etc.

Hi! My family are going to Taipei in January, and can someone advise if kids of 9 and 10 years old still enjoy "Babyboss"? Thanks!

Oh I see, in that case, shopping in Taipei City is possible after first day, but visits to places of interest would be bad! -
Absolutely bad idea.
CNY is super peak period for the Taiwanese local travel.
All good family stays should be fully booked out by now.
I just returned from DIY round island trip. In case you are interested to refer to itinerary, check out 1place1dream.blogspot.com -
Hi. For those interested and had been following, i have just updated my travel blog with the last family trip to Taiwan. We did the round island clockwise in 14-days. Actually i had wanted to do anti-clockwise so as to end at Taipei shopping. But that would hit the Christmas peak, so I ended up the other way.
As i was busy with work, this time the trip was planned completely on the fly. ie I spend about 1 hour every night to work out the next day itinerary.
All enjoyed as we ended up with great variety. For sights, we had the great sea ocean view through the East Coast, National Parks like Taroko, Alishan, Sun Moon Lake. And we had cycled, hikes, strawberries picking, made our own blow glass pieces, theme park rides and of cause the night markets.

There were older ones like Hokkaido and China for those interested. -

The farm visit and blow glass are fun. And these are in north-west so it is ok if you have a short holiday without time to go across the island. I had with me 10 and 16 year-olds.Song22:

Baby boss - Both my girls, 7&9 enjoyed alot n they loved it! I recommended to my friend, who girl is 9 yr old she said no regret!
Some kids were even older than my girls when we were there. u may join the half day session 1st n if your kid's like it, u are allow to extend it to a full day session before 1pm.
All occupational u need to queue n there are limited seats! They will bring the kid to the room to dress up n teach them few sentences.
So half day might not enough
My kids stayed for a full day session n managed to take part 10 jobs.
No regret, it fun! kid will reward with wages, parent busy following them n taking pictures for them
