i think some pupils who said that science was easy mainly becos there’re 30 MCQ questions, so it was “easy” to put in an answer, ( u can even tikam tikam) unlike maths .
But if one would seriously think in-depth, MCQ questions could be tricky, easily lose marks.
for science, it is difficult “to predict” the final marks obtained (esp for booklet B).
marks could be deducted here and there unknowningly where key words/key concepts are missing.

Usually, RI is 3 points below RGS, so the T-score could be 269...

They are actually discussing about the minimum COP required get into GEP class in RI based on 2009 PSLE score.

RGS has done away with specific classes for GEP pupils and think it should be the same for RI. GEP pupils are now allocated to certain classes in Sec 1 together with the high scores in PSLE from the mainstream and mainstream pupils who have secured a place via DSA (w/ the exception of those who got through Sports DSA). There is NO more differentiation between the primary GEP pupils and the mainstream pupils, all of them go through the same Raffles Programme; which means it does not matter if you are allocated into a class with GEP pupils or not.

Amongst the so-called GEP classes, are they streamed according to PSLE results too? I know you've mentioned they're streamed according to MEP/SAP/MT etc, but does aggregate scores come into play too? For eg., the class that Yen Jean is in, are there more top scorers there?
