hi, My dd has been with them for 3 years. I liked everything except that the fees kept increasing. The fee will cost more next year. My dd likes the school, he likes it as this is the only opportunity for him to perform. Every year, there are few outdoor performances, they went to esplanade this year. It builds up his confidence. The teachers are also helpful and patience. My only complain is that fee too high.

Yes, i agree the fees are expensive. Perhaps you could compare with other music schools on the fees, because most schools will provide their own students with performance opportunities. The concert at esplanade recital studio was definitely a highlight this year (but trust me, they wouldn’t do it anymore due to the cost- secret!)

My son also in the school under the special beginner course learning piano and violin. He still have 2 more lessons in violin. But I just check the fee if he continue in learning in violin and found that it is very expensive. I like it because it organise concert which allows student to perform and build confidence.

Anyone can share any school in the west also let the student to have performance opportunity and the fee more reasonable? :thankyou:

Oh you can try this school:

              http://www.summernotes.com/

I think it is opened by an ex-sso violinist.

Magic fiddler is probably the worst employer ever. Only foreigners will stay as they have nowhere else to go. The fees are expensive probably because of the high rental there.

Thanks you! I went to summernote before but I don’t quite like it. It opens only in 3pm and no teacher or student there except a admin staff. And she can’t provide much info except the course fee and which date the teacher is available. And she keep saying don’t know the teacher want to teach 5 yrs old kid or not, so I don’t quite like it though it is cheap.
