Exclude transportation $10 seems a lot. I am looking at $5-$6 a day: $2 for teabreak and $3 for lunch. Should encourage kid to drink more water instead of spending $$ on cold drinks.
$5 a day works out to be $25 a week. Round up to $30 a week in case of emergency and some savings. What do you think, enough???
Not that I'm getting one for him, as my DS is very careless and loses things.

Hi dear parents and seniors, my ds next year S1 and he is very keen to join Electronics, Communications & Computer Club (EC 3) as his CCA. May I know what is the requirements? He was a IT club member in his primary school from p3-p6 and awarded most valued member this year. His team also got silver of a nation primary school media competition this year. I would also like to know, does Electronics, Communications & Computer Club (EC 3) members will have chances to have competition national/international?
Btw, what is the requirements to join smtp?
Thanks a lot!!! -

What CCA is your DS interested in? -
joe0599:
I heard nowadays is CCA choosing kid, not kid choosing CCA. Supposed need to \"audition\" for a few CCAs and see which one(s) pick you before deciding.

Chandelier, I think the 3 novels are for Sec 1. Not sure the duration to cover per book. In this case, they prob will not cover any Shakepeare titles in Sec 1, I guess. If they do, they would prob have listed it in the booklist. Maybe 1 book 1 term ? (just a guess) Anybody with a more definite answer ??
:thankyou: -
hi for those mummies or daddies who r driving... heard that when school reopens, e boys will be given forms for car decal application. $3 per car for \"authorisation\" to drive into e school compound.

I have never heard of this. May I know where did u hear it from? Is the $3.00 per entry? Or per month? Or one off? I hope they understand that If parents think the fee is not reasonable, everyone will drop their kids along bukit timah road, it is going to worsen the traffic condition.
If it is one-off reg fee, and it helps to identify \"unauthorized\" entries then I think it is acceptable.
