Hi! Those who have appealed to a school , could you please write down the following in this forum:

1) Your child's agg score and HCL points if they have
2) The school(s) your child appealed to
3) The CCA your child applied with(if any)
4) Did you go for auditions/interviews/sports trials etc.
5) Was the appeal succesful or unsuccessful?
6) When did they notify you?

Thanks in advance. Did this forum so that parents would know how their children chances are of getting into the school via appeal.

Any possibility appeal calls will start coming in as in today?

Else another long wait.....

I am waiting the whole day to see ig there are aany emails or phone calls from the sch.

1 school said they are having staff meeting to make decisions. and mostly probably will start informing next few days....

My ds juz came back frm his appeal school for interview. Don know got chance or not cos abt 20 students went for tis morning interview so far.

Hi, this is my first posting. I am a little relieved to learn others like yourselves are similarly waiting anxiously for appeal outcomes.


My DD appealed to a local respectable girls’ school & got interviewed last Thur. VP hv basically told us the earliest we would hear is today, 27 Dec. So that leaves me another 3 days to get uniforms & books etc…

Can appeal outcomes possibly stretch to 1st week of school? Hope not.

Do all school conduct interview appeal? or some simply accept without that?

the appeals will be a chain effect of musical chairs…

if the elite schools appeal close, the 2nd and 3rd tier will follow…
i wonder when 22x scores schools students will be notifying on appeal success/failure…
elite started end last week till today…

I’ve known of 3 other appeal cases where students are called up for interviews. Some were notified on that day itself (like my case) while others give you one day’s notice. Questions asked more or less similar (why you want to join the school, how have you volunteered in primary school etc).
