Needing a favour here. If any 2011 P3 parent would like to let go of the Stuart Little book by Harper Collins (listed in the 2012 P3 booklist) pls kindly let me know.

      :thankyou:

      Rgds,

Hi, I am a new participant here. I have a query...wondering if any parents could advise. My daughter is transferring to RGPS p4 in 2012. Can any parents advise if there is any instructions on the books to bring on the first day of school?

Hi. I think you can just bring the text books 4A and a few English and Chinese exercise books. Don't worry about not having brought certain things. The teachers can't scold if there is no time table to follow. They will probably give out the time table and instructions about what to bring on the first day. I told my dd not to bother with the science text because we don't even know which one will be taught first.

Thank you so much for your prompt and sensible advice! Just getting a little nervous about the new school term starting in a new environment for my gal.

              dear 2012 P1 freshie mommies & daddies,

my friend asked me to help post a message here ...

my friend is an RGPS alumni member, staying around Mountbatten / Fort road / Katong / Marine Parade area. Her daughter is coming in, 2012 P1.

my friend sms, \"the next 6 years ahead (2012 - 2017) is going to be a long, great memorable journey in the school. but often we journey alone feel lonely, not knowing what to expect. do you think it is a good idea to form study group with mummies / daddies who are staying around my area - who share the same problem / concern as me, as we spend the next 6 years together, grow together, & help to render one another support along the way ? if can form ideal size 5 or 6 per group around my area from different classes and / or same class, that will be great! \"

if you happen to stay in the east around similar area, are interested & wish to connect to her, you may pm me. πŸ˜‚

New Semester starting. It will be a exciting date for my DD tomorrow.

I have not bought exercise books for her. Hope she can handle all things by herself. :rahrah:
