Dunman High School (Junior High)

Hi my older sons, who are experienced in such things
, got their sports shoes from Queensway in the past, thats why we went there. I have never heard about fakes, really hope dd's Nike is real. I think they are cheaper than Sportslink etc. But I ended up in Queensway chiefly because we were trying to find a wider selection of 75% white shoes. They certainly had a very wide selection with different colours, hues and strips. We even saw shoes meant for flat footed people.
Our ds/dd are certainly entering a new phrase of life, aren't they? -

Hi, my DD is going to another school as successful in appeal. well, being kiasu, I bought the textbooks, stationery and one set of uniform, tie and one set of PE attire.
Am wondering if any one who has appealed successfully in DHS would like to purchase?
Thanks.
Wishing everyone a blessed year ahead!

Gonna miss this thread here. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Thanks for all the wonderful advice. -
Can someone tell me what did the teacher say about the used of the primary school translink card? Heard something like go ahead and purchase sec Sch concession and Sch will only issue new pass in apr?
I’m blur… Do we just top up the current card and continue to use until new card is issued? -
Hi LangMum
Just continue to use the Pri card until the school issue new Sec cards.
Balance money from the Pri card can be transfer to the Sec cards at MRT stations. -
Hi.
Do the sch allow students to bring mobile phone?
Thanks. -

Thanks, mum sugoku
Hi. I intend to let my son take the MRT to school next year. So we tried out the MRT route on registration day and I found that the walk from the school back gate to MRT station is actually quite OK - mostly sheltered except for the overhead bridge. It took us about 15 mins to walk from the back gate to the station.mum_sugoku:
Hi all
Do many Sec 1s use the MRT?
Any opinion on the choice between school bus and MRT (Mountbatten)?
I gave DD the choice and she has decided to take the MRT too.
P.S. We tried on the full uniform (with skirt length adjusted, shiny new buttons etc) today with new shoes from Queensway and new bag........So happy to see my last child looking like a full fledged teenage student.
You're welcome
(Really envious that it'll be your last child going to sec.. For me, I still have 2 younger ones in pri school.. ) -
