Quote : It’s hard to say. Babies’ hair growth patterns can vary widely.

Some babies are born with a full head of hair, while others have only a sparse covering. What’s more, infants often lose all the hair they’re born with during their first six months. Sometimes the hair will grow right back in, but in a different color or texture. In other babies, it will take a while to grow back. Either way, be reassured that your child will have normal hair growth at some point, although it may take some time to be noticeable.

It is no uncommon. My gal who is 2 has a strand before as well. Unless it is persistent and getting more. Otherwise, no cause for concern. 🙂 Relax.

Same here. Found 1 strand on DD (P4) ~ 2-3 months after she transferred school. Think that time she was rather stressed. I plucked it out 😉 Now that she is coping already, no more white hair detected.

Similarly, I had 1 strand when I was really stressed up a few years ago....after that, no more....but I'm prepared for it since already in 40s.

When DD was young, her hair was very sparse too.....but it has just gotten thicker and darker as she grows tho I did nothing. Guess to some extent, genes will play a part.

Can be caused by diet. Copper (found in Liver, cashew nuts, sunflower seeds, sesame) , vitamin A etc helps. If u think it's really serious then perhaps see a Doc or Tricologist. 🙂

My DB loves to eat fried stuff, not sure if this is the cause of too much oily foods.

Don't worry...I think the doc gives sound advice to you..Multi Vit does help. I do not believe in hair remedy or other products till it is proven.
If it keeps growing then I believe you should see a consultant.

For black hair try to incorporate black rice and black sesame in your meals.

Can't guarantee they work but no harm trying cos they are nutritious. 😄
