I believe the Forest Adventure & Amazing Race are part of the orientation program for the GEP & META classes. CHI having class party tmrw & going Forest on Friday. Yes, this week is a FUN week for them. Next week they have CNY cookies demo on Friday.

We can share some information of school here, in order that we can share happiness with kids. Even I hear some news/story from my dd, but I still cannot write out them very well, so I am very like to read the posts of E3, comfy and other parents. :hugs:

For my DD this year, doesn't have such fun activities so far, 1st day acts as buddy to P1 students. The only good things is that she has 3 recesses instead of 1.
Good to have contact with other parents so that if consent/information form is lost or misplaced can then ask helpful parents to scan and email to u (if urgent). This year has to collect new contact no again as none of DD's contact friends are in the same expert class as her.

Look like it will be a big change for the expert class every year. It is very good that children have more chance to know many friends.

It is very good that children have more chance to know many friends.[/quote]Actually, my dd is pretty upset about it as she really enjoyed studying and chatting with 3 of her classmates. Now for her coming ISO project, I think she will have to find someone to pair with. I hope that next year, there will be a 'block' promotion else how to maintain 'lasting' friendship. Sigh......

Relieved to hear that so my dd is not so sotong after all. For her she is ok to go without the forest adventure, she tried that and totally chicken out

That is true, maybe it is difficult to maintain ‘lasting’ friendship, however this is also a good chance to find more friends. I think it is good experience to deal with different groups, personal character…so they can learn more from others.

So this time round, I used it again and told her that she will make new friends and expand her circle of friends. Today, she befriends 2 new friends. :boogie:
