Hi I'm new here. Son is in year 1. Can I check if anyone knows whether it is common for the boys to use the backgate to access the bus stops along AYE? My son has been trying to do so for past 2 days but to no avail. Apparently back gate closes at 2.40pm but they end only at 5.10pm presently. Sounds strange for them to lock a back gate so early. Alternatively, do you know what buses would take them from the school to Clementi station?

Outside the back gate there is a notice that says opening time is from 6am to 8 am in the morning and 2.30pm to 3.30pm daily from Mon to Fri only.

To Clementi can take 14, 166 or 196

Thank you ngbrdad! Hmm... Wonder why they have such restrictive timings for a backgate. Now son has to take a long detour to get home.

Think can take 74 (from bus stop on the school side) to Dover MRT besides 166 and 14. DS takes 74 daily to go home and passes by Dover MRT.

Is it true that we still have to pay 2 monthsโ€™ fees by cheque even though the GIRO form had been submitted on day 1?

Does anyone know what the Sports Bazaar is about? Are they supposed to decide and choose their 2 CCAs during the Sports Bazaar?

              Thanks.

Don't think they need to decide now. From previous pages on this thread, it seems that at the end of first month, the 2 CCAs are not fixed yet, especially the uniform group part.

Giro should takes time to finalize so probably need to pay first two months thru cheque first.

Time table is split into week a and week b, not told if they represent odd and even week respectively

Good am. Thanks Ngbrdad for your quick reply. DS came back both days complaining he was tired. Guess it will take them a while to adjust to the more hectic sec sch life. Look forward to meeting some of you tomorrow in sch. Cheers.

They represent the odd and even weeks within the school term. 10 weeks in each term, so you always start with week A.
