My MUM live within 1km from Beacon and BPPS. So I dono which school would be better for kid born in 2007.

My MIL stay within 2km from Nan Hua.

I dono if I should do PV at Nan Hua and if fail after 2B balloting, then return to Beacon or BPPS for 2C.

What you all suggestion for me, very confused now.
Kindly note that if you decide to register with either Beacon or BPPS via caregiver route, you will be under the 1-2 km category even though your mother's house is < 1 km from the schools.

Dear tare1919, my DD2 also born in 2007. I had submitted my PV form to Greenridge and will walk in to Beacon next Jan to submit my PV form also. Hope get a chance to PV in either this two school. 🙏 :xedfingers: 🙏 :xedfingers:

For Nan Hua, its very difficult to be PV as they need professional people like IT and etc.

Your IC indicate which add? Your MIL or your mum? If is your mum, then go for Beacon or BPPS for PV. FYI, this year BPPS need to ballot within 2km for P2B... Im one of the unlucky 7 to ballot out 😢 ... Now in the waiting list for my DD1. 🙏 :xedfingers: 🙏 :xedfingers:

For popular schools, it is much safer to PV if you are within 1km. I have seen some friends who PV for sch within 2km or more and got balloted out in 1B. Schools often try their best to take in such kids, but it may be a few months after the term started. This will be stressful for both parent and kid, so I think it is good to be focus and go for the best possible option/chance 😄 !

Decide to move back my mum house.

Beacon, BPPS all within 1km hope can get into PV and give my DD a better chance to go into BPPS.

              Hi tare1919,

So your IC indicate your mum add? Have you called Beacon for the PV form?
It should be ready by now... How about BPPS PV form? Have you submited? 😂

Sorry for too much qns... :siam:

                Hi there,

Can anyone provide information for last year’s balloting stats for Phase 2B?
I saw the stats on KSP but only up to 2010. The chart showing 2011 vs historical is by TUR but can’t tell whether if there was balloting within 1KM or 1-2 or above 2 km for Phase 2B. Thanks. If possible I would also like to have the same to Pei Hwa Phase 2B 2011 balloting stats as well.Thanks.

                  HI edrickelleon,

There is a balloting within 1-2km for P2B last year (BPPS).
I think this year will be the same as i know there are more PV for 2006 batch.

                  Lucky my DD1 got a vacancy 😓

                    hi mummy of 3,

Thanks for the info. no wonder this year, 1 of the pre-requisite to apply for PV is that you need to stay within 1 km. I guess the school wants to limit the no. of PVs to avoid any future dissappointments..

My childn is born 2007. luckily i stayed within 1 km...phew..but then, that's just sending in the application, won't know if selected until later this year..can I ask if you r also a PV?

It seems the questions of the PV form are general and I guess many will write the same. It's probably fate if they choose you to go for interview even in the 1st place..wish me luck 🙂
