      Hi parents,

Just wan to find out of any of u in the PTA? Just wan to find out more abt PTA...thanks!
I'm a 'VERY silent' member of PTA. Normally they will send emails of events happening & requests for volunteers/participants as appropriate. I try to join when I can (I'm working) as it's quite fun to see the kids enjoying themselves.....

        Mvm:

I saw the traffic warden waving the cars to drive into school on the right driveway, but the drivers (about 4 or 5 of them in front of me) simply refused to move, Waiting instead for the traffic warden to stop the traffic for the children to cross, thats when they swing into the driveway on the left :yikes:
It's worse when they swing half-way & realise they can't get in because the driveway is full..... block cars from farrer side going to bukit timah AND vice versa

If driving into the school driveway, PLEASE do not wait to get onto the left side of the driveway, esp if you are driving in from Kings road from Bt timah road. Your child can be dropped off on the right driveway as well.
My DD sits in the backseats but I can't let her off on the right because the right door is permanently on Child's Lock.

So on occasions I needed to drive her into the school, instead of turning into Bt Timah from Lornie, I just take the flyover and head straight down Farrer, make a U at the junction, then enter King's via Empress Road. Even with this detour, I found that it gets me into the school faster than entering King's from Bt Timah!

            Oops...did I just spill the beans? πŸ˜‰

Thanks for sharing the nice pics lizhi. My DD unfortunately can only participate as an observer due to her arm injury. She came back requesting that I take her there to try those obstacles when she recovers.

Its been a fun first week and lesson proper should start this week. She's made a few new friends and is blending in quite comfortably so far πŸ™‚
