      phankao:
Alright, all results on school website:

      http://www.catholichigh.moe.edu.sg/index.php/news-a-events/secondary-school-news/375-2011-gce-o-level-results-summary

Well, EduReach, CHS did not make the Average below 9.
CHS has 2 boys who scored 10 A1s. Why the news only report on the 2 girls from St. Nics & 1 girl from Crescent Girls, who scored 10 A1s?

Anyone knows when will the new students need to make their choices on their CCA? All uniform groups require 2 days / week of activities?
They have to select their CCA preferences by Thursday, is it??

Firefly: The CHS report includes CL, a component excluded from the news report. Which means to say, if you factor in CL in the news report, the girls might possibly have achieved 11 A1s. The reason why they have so many subjects is due to 3rd Lang.

But i felt the 2 week orientation is too long.

            1 week is probably ideal.

According to the VP, the oreintation grouping are not the same as the class. Just wondering how they group the class then....
So, all your boys excited and happy with their newly allocated classes?

Yeah, it's 9.2! Wonder any top 0-level girls school make the grade?

O-levels still dominated by girls one reason being distinction grade for english is still coming frm MGS and SCGS, >90% vs national average of 20.2-20.4% approx.

The consolidation is that CHS is still ahead of VS and SJI.
Congrats to all the CHS boys who hv done well! I m feeling more & more assured tt DS had made the right choice of sch.

llbros545: Waiting to hear yr gd news on CL result ^_^. I rmbr u mentioned in an earlier post tt u r in NCC (Air)? My ds's form tr is Mrs Valerie Chua, how is she?[/quote]

She's a chemistry teacher right? As far as I know and heard, she's quite a nice teacher.

              (Current student in CHS now)

How many Sec 1 parents do we have here?

Let me see, in 2012 Sec 1 batch, the KSParents are:

Yes nice but at appropriate times, strict. There was one once when she made all her senior cadets stay back after training for more than an hour to iron out the kinks. An indication of what she would be like, Newlykiasu. Oh, and she has lots of children! šŸ˜›
