Yep, my P4 boy also has nothing much this 2 weeks, no tingxie or spelling, little homework, still holiday mood.
The traffic at the PIE exit to Upper Serangoon is quite bad, took me 15min every morning fr the bus stop (near the turn to CTE) to turn off to Bendeemer Road. Anybody has any idea how to bypass that jam at 7am if I come from Toa Payoh?
Thanks -
Start of homework! One page of stellar handwriting. Ting Xie and Spelling list came back today and notice for PAL program.
Still happy boy. Made him finish his work b4 he is allowed to play… So far all’s good. -
can someone share with me, what is PAL program?
yay, agree with breadandmuffins still holiday mood, next week normal full week, then CNY holiday moods again

I believe the PAL program is the wed morning half day where they will learn some dance, puppetry, etc every semester. Think got to pay one. I am still at work, will go back and check the boy's bag tonight.
Btw, my son is in 1 Stephen and he told me there is spelling tomorrow. Can any parent confirm with me on this? And he is panicking as he may have left the list in school.

Many thanks for the update. The blur boy is still settling in and may be a little overwhelmed :wrongmove: -
Hi Parents, I need some advise - I am a catholic, but not my son (at this moment), is he still registered under 2B?

As taken from http://www.moe.edu.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/phases/
Phase 2B is....

It is the parent who needs to be catholic, not the child. -
Hello all parents of boys at SJI Junior. My boy just got in at primary 1 and he will be taking his grade 1 piano exam with the Coronation Music School this year. I'm exploring if there are any primary 1 kids out there that plays either the piano or violin. I'm thinking of forming an informal Strings Ensemble for the young boys so that they can come together to train and perform as part of their primary school life experience, instill discipline and focus during training and make life long friends through music. This may involve some self funding. Let me know your thoughts. I may be reached at [email protected]
Thanks. -
Last week was pretty relaxing but this week my DS (p4) has started having homework - mainly maths and chinese. Ting xie will be tomorrow.
I get stuck at the PIE exit for at least 10 mins too
