Hello all parents of boys at SJI Junior. My boy just got in at primary 1 and he will be taking his grade 1 piano exam with the Coronation Music School this year. I'm exploring if there are any primary 1 kids out there that plays either the piano or violin. I'm thinking of forming an informal Strings Ensemble for the young boys so that they can come together to train and perform as part of their primary school life experience, instill discipline and focus during training and make life long friends through music. i remember you need the boy baptism cert in order to register right? so if the boy is not catholic, how to produce a cert?

I think this is the 1st year that they are doing so. Initially I thought it was only for P4 but looks like it’s the same across from P1.

My son is in 4 Michael but he goes to 4 Gabriel for Chinese lesson.

Yeah I asked my son said 1 boy from 1 Raphael & 1 Luke interchangeable for Chinese lessons. Not sure why ? Sonny brought back Chinese ting xie list but did not indicate the date. When is the first ting xie starting? Next week?
