I'm eagerly awaiting the delivery of my Ocher Deeper pan πŸ™‚ but I have a question for you guys. I read that there's some leak test we could do with the pan? Can someone pls tell me what I need to do with it?

      Thanks πŸ˜„
Haha...simple. Just add water into the pan then tilt from side to side. There is a hole on the back, opposite the handle, so make sure you don't tilt back. Otherwise, you'll be wondering why your pan leaks.

Jumbo pan can do what other HCP can do too. It allows cooking a bigger portion of food. For my family of 3 adults shares just nice to cook - fried bee hoon and fried rice in a deeper size pan. So with more portion of food, bigger pan will be better. Over at the FB lotsa of ladies got the jumbo size pan as a 2nd pan after their basic pan.
Hi and thanks for the reply, just to clarify so the Jumbo grill pan can also be use for baking cakes? Actually im more concern on the cake baking part.

btw can i have the link to the happycall facebook page that u mentioned?

        thanks!

                  Hi Dorina,

Most of us got the pans from GMarket the following is the highly recommended stores here:
                  http://list.gmarket.com.sg/gmkt.inc/Goods/Goods.aspx?goodscode=404162282&jaehuid=200004249
                  http://list.gmarket.com.sg/gmkt.inc/Goods/Goods.aspx?goodscode=404253124&jaehuid=200007550
                  http://list.gmarket.com.sg/gmkt.inc/Goods/Goods.aspx?goodscode=404809915&jaehuid=200004249
                  http://list.gmarket.com.sg/gmkt.inc/Goods/Goods.aspx?goodscode=404983180&jaehuid=200007550

The Ocher deeper pan is selling at $68.90 and $69.90 in the above store, the difference between these store is their freebies give out with the purchase.

Also now with http://www.gmarket.com.sg/passioncard?jaehuid=200006470, u can have the Ocher deeper pan @ only $58.90/$59.90, which I think is really a good deal, this promotion with passioncard last until end of this month - 31 Jan 2012 only.

Basic Pan after discount is $52.90 in all stores above, this model what has been advertise on TV. Hope this helps.

U need to pan dry ur fish, coat some corn flour. Grease your pan abit. Unlock the pan, cover down still if u want to have a crispy skin effect. That's what being shared at the FB.

I have yet to fry kunning fish though only tried with Selar fish. I didn't grease the pan. I just pat dry, lock the pan cook awhile flip and cook again, then unlock the pan to cook, got the charred effect, but then not those crispy type.
