Oh.. DS2 is in P4 this year.. But now only beginning of the year, so '3 years later' includes this year lor
PSLE 3 yrs later? Then your DS2 would be in Pri 3 now. Maybe end of this year, he can be selected for GEP in Pri 4?phankao:

i share the same thots as you, vsk... DS2's turn is 3 years later, he is not from GEP, so most probably he wont try DSA, just concentrate on PSLE.
... If say '2 years later', very scary leh!!!
:nailbite:[/quote]Don't scare me leh.
DS2 is P5 with PSLE \"2 years later\".
How ? Should I panic now ? -
ngbrdad:
yes , panic now . Panic is a part of PSLE. So go do the full melodrama.
Don't scare me leh.firefly38:

remember the panic part is over , you cant do it again.
Ok now i :siam: -
Talking about stress and panic, anyone read TNP yesterday about SCGS primary and their entrance tests for P1 transfer ?
I think that is really stressing the kids . -
I had 2 friends kids who took that test. One got in, one didnt. Naturally the one that didnt get in said it was really stressful and the one that did said "no stress"!

Panic earlier.. prepare earlier.. not a bad idea, actually...

Actually P5 is the year to prepare for PSLE, of course, it builds up from P1. But really focusing on PSLE format is P5, not P6. Because P6 is a short term only 6 months, then the sch will do revision. Right, firefly38, I just got to relax after ds completed psle last year and now got to push panic button for dd now.

I just wonder how do they have places to take in the transfer ? -

DD is taking PSLE next year 2013. This year P5. She is not as strong academically as her brother - slower. So already sent her for math workshop to learn math strategies as math is her weakest. I'm also quite weak in math, so I can't help much and her kor kor loses patience with her easily when she still cannot get it.

DS is settling ok for now. But got worried abt the heavy stuff ds has to learn - like philosophy and research work. The boys have to submit their first proposal about research on some community needs / senior citizens needs if I'm not wrong. They have to come up with more specific areas on the topic for the proposal to be submitted week 5 (which is abt 2 weeks time). How's your ds coping?
