hi, do you still remember what time did the P1 & P2 kids go to school for the celebration last year?

Really wonder why? Where are the rest of the parents?

Hi, today, my DS bot back quite a few homework and he will start his spellings from tomorrow. Headache… need to supervise him everyday.

I am waiting for the day when he learns to "settle" his homework himself "automatically"…

He was recently appointed as an "Absent Manager" in his class. His responsibility is to keep the absentees’ homework for the day and return them to the kids the next day. This is the first time I heard of such a duty… but well, a good start to teach kids to be responsible.

Yes. This is something new. My DD also kept some the last two days. 🙂

She said \"We are good friend so need to help.\" 😛

Hi SAHM2KIDS, your DD is so nice to her friends, no wonder she was nominated as a prefect.

Homeworks are coming in full strength soon… Their honeymoon periods are over, and that means we, as parents, will have to be more hardworking too…

But I think it’s good, at least we know our kids are progressing well.

I was also told that remedials lessons have commenced for the P3 and upper primary levels. Hours for them are so long now.

P1 they have this LSP and LSM for those slow in Maths (LSM) and English (LSP).

Heard that P3 is a big jump from P2 so P2 is a critical year.

Today received the letter for CNY celebration. School hours same. Wear traditional costume.

Lakesidemum, so you have joined the PSG ? What do you need to do ?

                    Hi SAHM2KIDS,

Yes, I joined the PSG recently, but have not started on my duties yet. I volunteer to help out during their active recess for the PM sessions. Doing that once a week 1 hour each. Just a small start and see how things goes.

If you do notice, there are quite a number of PV in the school. Every Tuesday when I send my DS to school, there is bound to have a PV standing at the red light junction to ensure the students cross the road safely. I believe there is a PV there everyday.

So are you keen to join? Then I will have a companion…ha ha…

Yes, there are quite a number of PVs at the gate daily.

I wish to join but really can't. I have no helper to look after my son. 😞
