2012 P1 Registration Exercise for 2013 In-Take
-
you can try your MP and your MP will probably write a letter to MOE and the outcome will still be no.
how is MOE going to allocate another school to parents’ whose primary schools are closed? if they allocate new or not popular schools, these parents will not be happy. if they allocate popular schools, other parents will cry fouls ! So MOE would just stick to the defined rules.[/quote]
What you say is right too… Haiz… in that case i will just pray and hope that he can go into RMPS under 2C -

don't think MP can help (unless maybe you have special reasons to want to get into the sch nearest to your home eg kids need special care etc) because there is a phase 2C for those not qualified in earlier phases and that MOE's stand will be that all pri schs follows the same education framework/syllabus (how then can MP influence MOE?).Crystal Poh:
Hi Dorisp,
I have sent an email to MOE asking them what can I do instead. If they say no, I might go to my MP. Dunno whether it will help or not.

:stompfeet: :imdrowning: :yikes: The new EC (670 units) Tampines Trilliant (launching after CNY) has 8 blocks >1 km from St Hilda's the rest is 1 -2 kms TOP 2015 [realestate info] hence anyone who is registering in either 2B or 2C has to ballot even >1 km...
80% of 670 =500+ units if 10% have kids to register that's 53 kids there aren't 53 spots avail. in either 2B or 2C historically :gloomy:
now as onemap doesn't show Central 7 for Trilliant or the two other blocks from the ARC (also TOP in time for the 2013 registration cohort) I was wondering if anyone had the inside info... are these blocks are under 1km or 1-2km... ????? :?: -
tomorrow morning 9 am, call up MOE helpline at tel: 68722220.
is this the correct address:-
Tampines Trillant
11 Tampines Central 7 Singapore 528769
supply duty officer the SG postal code, ie. 528769.
within split second, MOE computer radar respond immediately & tell you whether your new EC condo are < 1 km, or 1 to 2 km.
however if this building not built yet, find the CLOSEST building right next to it that already exists.
MOE will ask you, \"can you tell me which is the Nearest landmark closest block to your new condo? \"

St Hilda got balloting

...
next time before anyone buy a new condo, ask property developer for postal code first. Then ring up MOE check - is postal code < 1km first, to popular school ? If Yes, then buy. -
when will the 2012 exercise begin?
-
July 2012 P1 phase 1 registration will kick off.
by end June, MOE will list down intake vacancies for each school.
30 pupils per class. -
phtthp: TIA! =D
-
parents with daughters enrol for SCGS under phase 2B and 2C, may wish to take note:

Hi. Can anyone offer suggestions or advice to my situation? I stay in the east but there are no schools within 1km with haig, chij kc, tanjong katong within 2 km… I will be trying for:
1) rgps under pv for 2b but stats don’t look encouraging esp. if the classes r reduced and >2km…
2) pei hwa under church for 2b but kinda far and very competitive as well
3) chij kc for 2c.
Im worried as there are no schools within 1km, hence risking balloting at 2c. Can anyone advice? Thanks
