Hi mummies, is it compulsory to sign up the EL speech and drama? If its on wednesday morning, who will bring the kids to school? for me and my hubby are both working… Any mum caught in this situation? Any suggestion?

It’s optional, not compulsory. I like my DS to enroll, but have the same problem as you, my DS is sent to Polaris, don’t know if Polaris can send him to school around 1045am, i wish to have suggestion too… Thanks a lot!

Yap. how to gives our children lunch then? Don't tell me to give them at around 9.30am, as u know lah children eat a bit slow at this age. I opt out too. I remembered last year my girl attended is not so expensive leh, if I remembered correctly. She have it during her class lessons timing.

I opt out too. The timing is awkward (lunch is an issue as my son is in Polaris too) and having seen last yr's outcome and performance, it's so so only. Somemore more expensive this yr, last yr was only around $260.

I opt out too. I wonder where they will be conducting? School is running out of classrooms. Upper pri has occupied 33 classrooms and then another few more classes from p1 or p2 on speech & drama day… …

Btw, I called the school, they will have lunch 1230pm to 1255pm on their speech and drama day.

hi, mine also has stellar handwriting. think they did some work in workbooks in class, DS mentioned that he did the weekly maths in class. guess still honeymoon period.

i also opt out. timing weird, plus need to arrange transport n lunch, so troublesome. not comfortable with him taking lunch in school. seems like many parents opt out.

Beside stellar handwriting, mine also given weekly maths homework to be done during holiday. Not much on English and Chinese, but will hv spelling tests after CNY.
