      any good website where i can do calculation on how much i need to pay (cash +cpf) for private house ? …how much of renovation usually one’s need for new unit ? condo usually will be charged more …

        Errr... There may not be a single website that give straightforward answers as that depends on situation such as CPF rulings, bank loan quantum and loan packages etc....


        If you are looking at new launch pty, simply drop by one showflat and request for a agent + banker to work out the sums. No obligations. There may be pushy agents, but simply wave them away...

        As for pte resale, try propertyguru calculator at http://www.propertyguru.com.sg for a rough idea. Or contact your friends who already bought resale pte pty for a chat...

                  I went to WaterTown too.

                  SOHO is suitable for small families (2 adults and 1 child).

                    Nowadays, most of my frens who bought HDB flats end up buying private property and not selling their flats. They prefer to rent out their flats… no wonder analysts say less and less resale flats available…
