what I meant by 'penalised by their companies' is CNB and SCDF will not take them back, or they may be 'seconded' to a lesser position.
      Got ur point.
But to give u a better understanding.
If they r not charge under PCA for corruption, their ' serious personal misconduct' will be referred to PSC for disciplinary action.
Nothing more to do with CNB n SCDF.
They hv been permanently replaced as chiefs of resp. agencies.
They r as good as gone wrt their civil service careers.

Actually, up to this point in time, the only confirmed corruption that has taken place is their moral corruption with the woman. There is no confirmed $$ corruption per se yet. And if going by some of the views exchanged in the YSL thread, shouldn't EMA be considered private affairs?

These 2 guys aren't even MPs, no gag orders, and are suspended from their jobs. Talk about accountability ... who has to account more, these 2 guys or the MP?
Wondering if no $ involved then how to boost the sales of the IT?

🤷 so the woman just involved not becos to have more sales on IT products?

The problem here is someone officially lodged a complaint against a tender malpractice so it is placed under business crime investigation unlike the rumour in YSL's case, no one raises it as a crime....just KPO talks so far. So the 2 cases are DISTINCTLY different in that light.

No two cases r exactly d same. Cannot deal with these cases like cutter cookies.
I said b4 in dis thread dat I find d manner in which dis matter (of d 2 chiefs) was handled n released to d public while investigations were still ongoing at odds with SOP.

šŸ˜‚ I am also kind of KPO... still wondering how the woman in the case look like.

If someone raise the YSL's rumour as crime then is another story...

There need not be an exchange of money for \"corruption\" to exist. Giving this woman's company the contract because she was sleeping with him = corruption due to biasness.

Woman has offered sex in return for getting the contract, so her gain was hitting high sales targets and whatever bonus is associated with that.

A few years ago, surveys showed that Singapore couples have the lowest number of sex per week (or per month).

Maybe, Singapore guys are just having more sexual partners but not the frequency of sex.

Or the number quoted is only with legally married spouse.....which is only a fraction of the actual number?? Imagine married couple filling up the form and one wrote 1/week while the other is 4/week :scared:

Durex survey is available on d net. Just google for it.
I haven't read d details, but saw there is a demographic data profile.
Sample size is only ard 1,000 ppl.
Yeah, would make it difference if sampling is done in heartlands, Shenton Way, Geylang, or latest hotspot civil service :rotflmao:

WeiHan, I had to look at ur comment twice before I understood wat u were trying to say.
If more sex partners + increase frequency of sex,
over-exertion will kill u b4 ur wife does! :rotflmao:

From the news report here http://news.omy.sg/News/Local%2BNews/Story/OMYStory201201311535-308365.html , the 2 (ex-CNB and the pretty) both happen to go to the same temple to pray. He hid when he saw her at the temple.

U think possible that the 2 ex-chief both \"fall in love\" with the same woman, some other people jealous of the her having the loves from 2 high profile personnels and hence sabo them.

Civil servants cannot have extra marital affairs?!?

sure, civil servants can ! public servant cannot !!
                      :rotflmao:

Public servant cannot as shown in another case.
