Stationery and School bags

Abt the same here. My boy used his SPI up to midway thru P4 and then changed to Deuter for the same reason, and of course, it was starting to look too kiddishI have mentioned in another thread that my boy used SPI from P1 to P5. So it is a very sturdy and tough bag. Then we changed to Deuter (Size L )because the SPI bag was getting too small for his books. For Deuter, look at the school bag range as they are ergonomic.
We have not used the other two brands, so cannot comment. Hope that helps.
.
Not sure if the 'ergononic' design really helps but it sure is exp...like >$120 for basic models IIRC. Yes, it's rather heavy, esp for P1. My boy fell down while alighting from the sch bus once....broke his glasses!! :x -
my girl uses NIVPAK for 2 years since P2 till now but she does not like it due to the bagβs cartoon print. Pester me to change new bag nxt year. Frankly, i think the bag design is alright but it is too βlargeβ for her to carry when she was P1 so only let her use when she is P2.

Yes, if I am not mistaken, it is stated on the label that it is an ergonomic bag. I bought the Deuter school bag from Carrefour at Plaza Singapura. The bag can be found among all the other backpacks for school. Thanks Kuzco!
How do I know if it is ergonomic for Deuter range?
Do they specify in the label or if there is a specific model I shd look out for? -
BIG THANK You for all inputs here!
I am about to get a school bag too
as my girl's bag was too big for her, and heavy on its own,
though ergonomic. So no choice but to use till end of year.
How about the POPULAR's brand and IMPACT?
YES! Will check out the SPI ones.
At least not so headache over so many brands! :faint: -

We hv 2 Popular brand sch bag. IMO it is too big for lower primary if the child is of a small build. My elder boy carried one from P4 to P6. Though the bag is still in good condition, the cushion on the straps has worn off. My boy packs his sch bag to the max daily. Very heavy load.BIG THANK You for all inputs here!

I have kept the other Popular bag which my younger boy was using as the sch bus is already very packed. It was hard for him to get off the bus. Now he is using a kiddy looking bag that can stand upright on its own and has good cushion on the straps. -

Can we find the ergonomic ones in dept stores? The ones I saw at OG do not seem to be ergonomic. My elder boy prefers a bag that can stand upright on its own. TIA your advice. -
Ok Thanks Jennifer.
Will check out the POPULAR brand separately as I remembered
there was 2 versions, one small the other big. And both POPULAR and
IMPACT brands are light on its own...
:thankyou: -

Do these stores carry Deuter too?
I think SPI is a bit kiddy for my elder boy who is going to sec 1 next year.
