Stationery and School bags

Jennifer:
You can find SPI ergonomic bags at LEGO store at Raffles City, and Taka toy's department.
I like Deuter design, very cool.kuzco:
I have mentioned in another thread that my boy used SPI from P1 to P5. So it is a very sturdy and tough bag. Then we changed to Deuter (Size L )because the SPI bag was getting too small for his books. For Deuter, look at the school bag range as they are ergonomic.
We have not used the other two brands, so cannot comment. Hope that helps.
Can we find the ergonomic ones in dept stores? The ones I saw at OG do not seem to be ergonomic. My elder boy prefers a bag that can stand upright on its own. TIA your advice. -

Do these stores carry Deuter too?
I think SPI is a bit kiddy for my elder boy who is going to sec 1 next year.

Is there 2 sizes for the Popular house brand? I could only find the large one at Bt Timah Plaza, Bt Panjang Plaza and Lot 1.Ok Thanks Jennifer.
Will check out the POPULAR brand separately as I remembered
there was 2 versions, one small the other big. And both POPULAR and
IMPACT brands are light on its own...
:thankyou:

I am not so sure about other dept stores but maybe you can try Carrefour where we bought ours. The bag is able to stand as it has a solid backing and will not \"crumple\" into a heap. Its shoulder straps are broad and padded and also comes with a waist strap so that the bag does not swing around.

SPI is way too childish for a Sec 1 boy already.

Yes, I got ours at the Deuter Fair at Carrefour. Think I paid $98 for the L size. -
We prefer backpack to sling bag.
