I was hesitant to wade into a debate on dis topic earlier

since religion can be a very sensitive n emotional subject to some.

Wat Weihan wrote is probably true.
It is unfortunate dat in fighting for civil liberties,
esp in d high profile Section 377A n AWARE saga,
SKH has pitched himself against some fundies.
If one look at d chain email dat TS posted,
d spin is targeted at SKH’s insensitivity to Christianity.

SKH put up a credible performance as an NMP, n he spoke on a range of issues affecting SGreans,
not just on d repeal to Section 377A.
I say, debate d issues/views, but let’s not attack d person.

The crucifixion n ressurection of Christ is the centre of Christian faith, it is the greatest gift from God to the mankind, without them there is no Christianity. A person who does not believe, value n honour His ressurection is not a Christian. And if he is not a Christian at least be sensitive as not to post such picture in a social networking site which only proof what his critics say abt his insensitiveness abt Christianity which is the issue here. And i did not even know that he speaks out for the LGBTs.

Respawn may not be a negative word, but it does not hv the same definition with Christ's ressurection and the 3days time has a special meaning in Christianity and definitely not a LAG... im not trying to stir a debate here, i just want ppl to understand this issue from Christian point of view and why they find his post as offensive..
