St Nicholas is a better school

St Nicks produced stellar results. Abt 72 pupils scored L1R5 of 6 points. 77% of girls scored L1R5 of 10 points or less. 98.2% eligible for Junior College.
Taking into account it has it's own affiliated girls from Pri section( lower PSLE T scores),SNG indeed is a Value-Added Sch!

Both schools are good. Choose something which you DD likes. All the best!

A friend working in RI (JC) said beside RGS and RI went into year 5, mostly St Nicks and Catholic High are among the cohort.

not just to RI alone, but also to Hwa Chong at Year 5.

obvious...due to proximity....all these schools are nearby each other

I have the same concern as CupNoodle.

CupNoodle, I am in almost the same position as you. My DD has 252+1 and she is choosing Cedar IP as 1st choice. However, I see that the chance of getting in the IP track is not high.

She wants to choose Cedar 'O' level track as 2nd choice. I have no objection but I felt that with her score, she should try SNGS as 2nd choice. I am in a dilemma over SNGS or Cedar 'O' level. Personally, I'd prefer SNGS for its SAP, ie it will be more towards the Chinese culture.

So, have you or your DD decided which sch to go for?
                      Hi Daranic,
How's yr daughter coping at Cedar Girls'? Hope all is well for her. Loads of h/wk,stressful or not there?

between SNGS and SCGS Secondary … wondering which school going to be more popular for P6 students interested to join new Secondary 1 Integrated Programme intake ?
