Hi, anyone has Berries or Tien Hsia K2 workbooks or materials to let go? I intend to teach my son myself and interested to know what they teach. Thanks!

Hi, Anyone heard of Beijing Language Centre? Good? Currently I send my son K2 to Berries, just started this year. They don’t teach han yu pin yin. Someone told me Beijing Language Centre is good. Anyone knows?

Hi, I recommend you to send to Xuelin in Katong 112. K1 is too young to have home tuition, it’s very tough to build their interest in learning Chinese.Xuelin has a good circurrilum which includes introducing newspaper reading from K1. They have small class size, 8 max and their committed teachers can look after all the little one very well. But they are expensive! My P2 and P4 are with them but at the Bukit Timah branch. I feel the pinch but have to admit that the $$$ is well spent. My 2 kids simply love going to Xuelin.

Try to talk to the lady boss or Wang Lao Shi, they are very professional. What I like about them is that they openly share their knowledge regardless if you are to enrol with them or not.

Berries do teach han yu pin yin. I think in the 2nd half year. My son was in their K2 class last year.

                  Hi friends

I'm on the search for a reputable Chinese tutor able to conduct one-to-one sessions in the West. If you've got any contacts, do share!!! I can't seem to be able to find a tutor who can click with my kids. I've found good tutors for their other subjects, and they're doing well in those, I feel it's such a waste to let Mandarin scores pull their grades down! 😞
                  Cheers.

Hi happyandhealthy, hopeful4future, why not give Xuelin in Bukit Timah a try? I have checked them out! Very impressed with them, unfortunately I stay in Thomsom, too far! see my thread in "Xuelin Learning Hub"
